Just call me Peggy Sue

You know that poem that starts "Dance like no one is watching"? Forget the rest of it, and just do that part, a lot.

If you ever decide to go 300 miles away for any reason, give yourself more than 20 hours to do it. And don't get sick the day of.

The DL on last weekend:
Friday: class 8:30-4, chem seminar 4-5, rehearsal 6-8:30
Saturday: Sacred rehearsal 9-12, ballet rehearsal 3-6, drive to WI 6-10 (9 Central), see amazingly cute new nephew 9-11, drive to hotel 11-11:30
Sunday: drive to Milwaukee 8:30-9:30, breakfast at Dunkin' Donuts 9:30-10, drive to MI 10-3 (2 central), rehearsal 3-5:30, dinner, homework 6-9

So it was a little crazy. It was awesome to spend some time with Jennica in the car, and to see my family and little Samwise, and Rich for a half hour. But waking up just a little sniffly and going to bed with absolutely no voice and more stuffed up than I've ever been is just not cool. Also, it would have been nice to have some more time for each leg of the journey. Oh well.

You should check out my nephew, he's super adorable:

And now on to my week with no voice and feeling a little disconnected from the frantic road-tripping.
