Just call me Peggy Sue

You know that poem that starts "Dance like no one is watching"? Forget the rest of it, and just do that part, a lot.

I'm Old

Life begins anew here in Holland, Michigan. I live in the best cottage on campus with some of the nicest girls ever. I'm single, and learning to not hate every minute of it, mostly because it was my choice. My two best friends are overseas having the time of their lives, while I struggle to exist without their immediate support. I'm teaching a ton, taking more classes than should be allowed, and am a new member of InSync Dance Theater on top of it all. Oh yeah, plus tutoring. I've got a lot on my plate, including the reconstruction of my physical and emotional well-being. God is the only one who can pull me through this hectic year alive and well. And so it will be. With a new outlook on life, I'm ready to dive into the unknown, even though every moment I want to slip back into the comfort of what I know and love. I can do this, I know I can. Two decades isn't old enough to be stuck.

New moon, new life

plug the holes
fill the cavities
try not to pick at the scabs
change the hygiene
change the diet
change the habits
look ahead
look inside
look around
just me
just myself
just I
unplug the holes
tear off the scabs
start all over again
