Just call me Peggy Sue

You know that poem that starts "Dance like no one is watching"? Forget the rest of it, and just do that part, a lot.

Little Things

Little things that made me happy lately:

Signing for packages at the store.
Joel Hall learning my name.
Downloadable audiobooks from the Chicago Public Library.
Super cheap, super awesome vanilla bath foam.
Handing in 7 Starbucks applications in one day, a feat which required trecking around in 10 degree weather for 3 hours (I know, odd that this would make me happy, but it did).
"The important thing is to keep the important thing the important thing." -Albert Einstein
The pointsetta Mommy got me, which is thankfully still alive.
Ryan leaving me a singing voicemail. A very long singing voicemail.
This picture:
(Mom sent this great Thanksgiving picture to me today. We look like we're bored, mad at each other, and drunkards. Actually, it was an exciting, happy, and sober holiday. Not sure why the picture turned out so bad.)

That picture is hilarious and then your description literally made me spit out what I was drinking! Bored, mad, and drunk...genius.

    That made me happy.

I like "happy, sober" which I misread as "somber"--and wondered how it could be somber when we drank all that non-alcoholic fizzy grape juice? We'll have to try to take better Christmas pictures.
I'm glad you like the poinsetta--mom
