Wow
I'm done!!!! My senior year is officially half over!! I've written my final senior capstone paper for Hope, my general education requirements have been met, I've taken my tests and handed in my projects. Now I can just live my own life for a couple weeks before starting next semester's insanity.
If you would like a copy of my 20-page lifeview paper, please make a request via email, so I can send it off to you electronically. It's a doosy, and I can't say it's perfect or wonderful, but it's there. I got horribly sick with the flu halfway through the editing process, so things didn't all get fixed as planned. Yet there it is, and there it shall stay.
The snow is amazing out here. It's been snowing like mad for more than a week, the madness of whiteness we usually get in January. Oh, it's fabulous outside. Freezing and windy, biting snow in your face all the time. But man it's nice to look at. It's all drifted up all over, about 2 feet deep in most places, the icicles are grand off of every roof. Driving is hideous and my coats seem too thin, but I love it anyways. I could watch it snow for hours at a time and be content, which is exactly what I did when sick this week. Today, the sun is shining brightly off the sparkly white snow, making the whole world flare up. Gorgeous.
We are havinga new girl move into our house next semester. It's been quite the scandal. We don't know her, from her Facebook profile she looks like someone who actually has a social life, she's a junior, and she just isn't of our little society. Yes, we are being selfish, yes we are being childish, yes we are being elitists. But we are all very upset about this. We could use some sympathy, and also some trust that we will get over ourselves and be perfectly civil to this girl when she gets here. As much as we plot against her now, we are nice people and will handle this fine once the time comes. But until then, I will gripe about how she might get my single that I worked so hard for.
I leave you now, faithful readers, to go take a nap. Yes, a nap, because I'm done with finals and no one is expecting me to do anything for a while. A fabulous feeling, if I may say so.

Maybe the new girl will be awesome and love to do things like clean, be quiet, and not live in the single. Or maybe she just has a fake social life and you guys can turn her from drab to fab, like in the movies! That'd be great.

Or maybe she DOES have a social life, is hip and with it and has a great, outgoing personality. That will be good for you guys and help you all, as you say, to get over yourselves :-).
BTW congrats on finishing up all your finals and papers and stuff. It is indeed a great feeling. It is snowing here in Wisconsin also. Have a safe trip home.
