Back to the Grind
Winter break has come to an end. It's sad. I was supposed to take 4 days and catch up on all my homework and all my sleep. I kinda did that. I did some homework, I'm only like 2 lessons behind in stats now. I still know nothing about biochem or jazz or anything else. But at least I can remember how to take integrals. I got sleep: a couple of 12 hour nights. But here it is, just after 11, and I'm already super tired. My body makes no sense. Oh well. I went home, which was good. Saw Sammy (sooooo cute), and found my passport (now I don't have to pay for a new one, that saves me a good $80). I make tons of cookies for my housemates, which everyone is greatly appreciating. I also discovered that Cadbury Egg season has yet again arrived (my favorite time of year). Alyssa claims that we are going to be fed only Cadbury Eggs in heaven, and I am very close to believing her. Yum. All the sugar is great for me, but is putting some strain on my ballet classes. The little ones do not know how to handle a sugar high. The girls were literally running around the room at top speed and running into walls the other night. Not fun for me. But I talked to my boss, and she says that she's super happy I am doing well with the little girls this year, but she's letting me have all upper school kids next year (thank Jesus, I am simply not gifted with beginners). That's great, and shows that she trusts I know what I'm doing.
This was very random, but that's the way life goes. It's supposed to snow tons tonight, but so far I've seen only one snowflake. If only they gave snow days in college....

Hey, hey!! What new tricks does Sammy do? How does the ol' homestead look? Have you got visa questions?
I didn't know you were teaching the smaller girls this semester--is that new? I miss you like crazy-maybe we can get this phone thing organized. Love you lots--your closest ancestor
